OUR HISTORY

Al Ihsan Charity Association was founded in 1990

Founded by individual efforts, it was officially declared in 1998 at Ajman Emirate under the name of Al Ihsan Charity Association Center through a noble deed of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Alnuwaimi, Member of the Higher Council Ruler of Ajman.

Our Story

  1. 1990

    Founded by individual efforts

    Al Ihsan began as a noble initiative driven by the efforts of individuals.

  2. 1998

    Officially declared in Ajman

    Declared at Ajman Emirate as Al Ihsan Charity Association Center, through a noble deed of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi.

  3. 2012

    Declared a public-welfare association

    Ministerial Decision No. (44) of the Ministry of Social Affairs declared Al Ihsan Charity Association, under No. (140) of the Ministry Records.

HH Ruler of Ajman is keen to embody the meanings of goodness and charity established on the bases of the social solidarity and preservation of the family structure. Ministry of Social Affairs has issued the Ministerial Decision No. (44) for 2012 regarding declaration of “Al Ihsan Charity Association”, of the public welfare, under No. (140) of the Ministry Records.

The Association seeks through its vision of the leadership of philanthropy in UAE, to achieve the principle of social solidarity between members of society; by setting specific goals, comprehensive plan and clear visions based on providing help to the needy and poor families within the state. Including financial and food assistance with the development of services and the expansion and modernization of the Association facilities and its various departments.

The procession of the Association goes on the path of good with a significant support of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, May Allah protect him, and under the leadership of HH Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chief Executive Officer, who spares no effort in his constant support for the needy families.

Strategic aims

  • Upgrade the institutional work; activate its mechanisms and qualifying the staff in accordance with the modern institutional work requirements.
  • Development of the financial resources to achieve the requirements of the social, charitable and humanitarian works.
  • Buildup and manage the endowment and development projects, to achieve the social sustainability.
  • Providing social, health and educational care to the needy in order to achieve sustainability and self-sufficiency.

The Association is committed to

  • The continuous training, development and rehabilitation to raise the efficiency of the employees.
  • Taking customer suggestions and complaints into consideration, as well as discussing and analyzing them.
  • Review the goals and the quality objectives within the Association periodically.
  • Disseminate the quality objectives and policies to all employees.
  • The laws and regulations adopted within the Association shall be in accordance with the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates.
  • Providing services according to quality and excellence standards, in order to satisfy the customer.
  • Verification of all necessary precautions and measures to update and follow up of the implementation the standards and specifications of the quality management systems of the Association as an application to the International regulation (ISO 9001-2015).

Therefore, Al Ihsan Charity Association is committed to the application and development of quality management system through the management follow-up, and checkup the effectiveness of the system continuously.
